G.L. by way of Carnegie Mellon Drama Department, Pittsburgh, graduated from Michigan State University and entered the television industry. From Providence to Phoenix and cities in between, he managed local television station's programming and operations. He also produced and directed a wide variety of news and entertainment programs. Awarded a Master's degree, he taught at Cleveland State University. Rockey, in addition to TRUTHS OF THE HEART, has published three other works of fiction: THE JOURNALIST, "a frightening ring of a truth"five star thriller; TIME&CHANCE, a mystery/suspense set in Nashville, and a collection of sixteen off-the-wall short stories, "BATS IN THE BELFRY, BELLS IN THE ATTIC." All of G.L. Rockey's works are published as e-books and "The Journalist" is now available in paperback. "Time&Chance" is scheduled for paperback release in 2005.
