WAYWARD SUN
REVIEW
Lady Arianne Brooke has two choices—either stay in England and marry the evil and unscrupulous Duke to save her older brother and his family from financial ruin or take a leap of faith and stow away in a ship headed for the New World in search of her brother Will. When she chooses the latter, more daring choice, she finds herself at the mercy of another man whose reputation is far more dangerous that the Duke’s—Ross Braden. He alone is the key to her salvation. He alone can take her through the Wild West—Colorado to be exact—to reunite her with her brother, Will. He alone has the brutish charm and rugged good looks that can sway any woman from her virtues.
As they set out on their quest, neither one of them expects the harshness of the West to be the least of their worries. Ross’ honor to Arianne’s brother and the Lady’s past will both come to haunt them on this voyage, but the attraction they both hold for one another is potent and will become the biggest obstacle they will have to overcome.
Katherine Smith has created a masterpiece of romance. Her characters are so real and compelling that the reader will be totally enthralled. The tapestry of words she has interwoven into this story will just blow you away. If ever there were a true page-turner, this is definitely it!
