widow who learns to love
again, despite the hurt that she endured losing her first
love.
Unbounded Love By Giovanna Lagana
In Unbounded Love, the tough-talking cop named Adrianne
Wilcox has g iven up on
love. She thinks that the man she has loved for what seems
like an eternity is happily
married. Little does she know, but Justin is not happily
married. He's separated from his
wife, and is conflicted by feelings of his own about Adrianne.
This tragedy comes back
to bite them when a suspect uses their intense attraction for
his own gain.
Remember By Judith Fox
Penelope Burke is coming home after fleeing a romance gone
wrong twenty years prior.
She takes a job as a tutor for a young girl. Imagine her
surprise when she finds out that
her boss is none other than the man that she ran from all
those years before. Penelope
bravely faces her past head on, and comes to learn that our
past is never something to
run from, but something to embrace.
A Soldier To Love By Diane M. Wylie
Christine Lawson is determined to carve a place for
herself as a soldier during the Civil
War. She has next to nothing, and the enlistment fee seems too
good to be true. After
befriending another soldier, Private Ryan Bishop, she learns
that courage comes from
very
unexpected places, and that she is indeed fit to be loved.
Meant To Be By Crystal Inman
Lynn is recovering from an accident that has scarred her
face. Along with the physical
scar is a mental one that is still bleeding- the night of the
accident, she was trying to
escape the fact that she had been left at the altar. She is
now recuperating at Max's
house, the brother of her ex-fiance.
Max has developed strong feelings for Lynn, but can
not seem to chip away at the wall that she has built around
herself. Just when Max thinks
he is making headway, his brother returns with his new wife,
complicating an already
complicated situation.
Of Eros And Psyche By Marsha Briscoe
This poem builds a story line much like a Greek Tragedy.
Eros and Psyche just can not
seem to keep their love together. After a tragic life of being
kept apart, they are
eventually reunited on the other side.
Effusion Of Dawn By Marsha Briscoe
A beautiful Elizabethan sonnet, this poem tells the
Aurora's story as the Goddess Of The
Dawn.
The Arrangement By Crystal Inman
Brendan Wardlow is a writer who
has always dreamed of writing "The Great American
Novel." It seems that his prayers have been answered when
a mysterious woman shows
up at his door, claiming to be his personal muse. Once over
the shock, he writes the
story of his dreams. He also begins to fall in love with his beautiful
muse, and does
everything that he can to keep this beautiful woman in his
life after his novel has been
written.
From The Hand Of Guinevere By Daniel Wilder
A beautifully written poem about Guinevere and Lancelot,
this story comes straight out
of the idyllic Camelot, and tells the story of the undying
love between the two. It also tells
us how this love plays a very important part in the eventual
dismantling of The Knights Of
The Round Table as a result.
Restoration Of A Broken Heart By Barbara Baldwin
Molly Bonner is a divorced woman seeking to start a whole new life for herself. She buys
a broken-down ante-bellum mansion and hires a contractor to
renovate it for her. She
slowly begins to rebuild her life after her divorce, and has
no plans for romance. In
comes Joe Austin, who teaches her that love does not have to
end, nor be painful.
Echo Of The Plains By Kristy MccAffrey
Eli Ryan has been following a beautiful stallion by the
name of Echo from the time that
the horse ran from his family's homestead. He is determined to
reign in the beautiful
beast, and in the process, meets Cassie Callahan. Poor Eli has
a hard time completing
his self-imposed mission between the stubbornness of the
stallion and Cassie.
Worthy Hearts By Janet Mills
Alicia Cortez has somewhat of a different homelife. She lives with three men who watch
over her like hawks. This makes it difficult to date, to say
the least. Alicia makes a date
with Trey Whitlock, but poor Alicia is nervous about him meeting
her family. The
previous men that she has brought home were mercilessly
interviewed, and never to be
seen again. She knows that she could have something special
with Trey, but can he
make his way through the fortress of men at the Cortez
homestead?
Where The Heart Is By Barri Bryan
Angela Murray left her home ten years ago, and planned to
never look back. A love
affair gone wrong forced her to flee Paul's Valley all those
years ago, and she did not
think that she'd ever come in contact
with her ex-boyfriend, Dan. Her sister's death
forces her to return to her home, and she is completely
shocked to find that Dan had
married her sister after she left. Now, poor Angela has to
deal with the finality of death,
and the fact that she still has feelings for a man that she
worked so hard to run from that
night ten years prior.
Along with the wonderfully sweet prose in this anthology, also
comes beautiful poetry
with three poems that have been beautifully interwoven in this
collection. Ms. Marsha
Briscoe contributes two of her best works to the book, along
with a breathtaking ballad
by Mr. Daniel Wilder. The masterfully written stories,
combined with the amazing poetry,
makes this book a must for anyone maintains a lifelong love
affair with love. I was
chained to the chair, waiting for what came next in this
tearfully romantic book. All the
contributors are masters of their trade and are to be
commended for such a wonderful
piece. Love is definitely a book to be purchased and
read again and again.
